45ème SYMPOSIUM DE ST-GALL , 7-8 mai 2015

We focus on what moves the world.

The St. Gallen Symposium is a global gathering of Leaders of Today and Leaders of Tomorrow which takes place annually in May at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It is organised by the International Students’ Committee (ISC), a team of students from the university

Since 1969, the ISC has been fostering the notion of bringing together the current and future generation of leaders by creating a unique setting where debates are encouraged across borders, time zones and cultures.

The commitment of 30 students from the University of St. Gallen to offer a truly unique and memorable experience for the participants of the St. Gallen Symposium by creating thoughtprovoking debates spurs this group of students to interrupt their studies for at least one year and dedicate themselves to the organisation of the symposium. But what else drives the members of the organising committee? What are the core values behind this initiative which spans over 40 years of history?

A content-driven programme, long tradition and arduous commitment are the driving forces which the current ISC-Team has in common with all 43 preceding teams. The aspiration of all ISC-Teams has always been to encourage intense team-work and the dedication to organise a flawless symposium. The establishment of long-term relationships between the ISC members and the symposium community, particularly our Circle of Benefactors, and the satisfaction of witnessing engaging interaction at the symposium create the spirit of our student initiative.
