The Swiss financial centre: amongst the most efficient in the world

Switzerland is one of the most efficiently regulated and supervised financial centers in the world today with the Swiss financial centre being a central pillar of the Swiss economy as it employs about 6% of the total workforce and generates over 10 % of the Swiss GDP. The key players in the Swiss financial centre are the banks. One of their core businesses is wealth management reflected in a ranking of the world’s largest wealth managers, which places three Swiss banks in the top ten. In terms of cross-border private wealth management Switzerland is the undisputed world market leader with a share of 27%, or CHF 2,100 billion.

Given these important facts The Swiss-Arab Financial Forum will take place in its second edition on the 3rd of April 2014, at the Grand Hotel Kempinski, Geneva-Switzerland.
